Morrisons Golden Ticket Prize Draw

To celebrate saving 250,000 Morrisons Magic Bags of food from going to waste, Too Good To Go and Morrisons are launching a special prize draw with hundreds of prizes up for grabs.

Too Good To Go app users who purchase a Morrisons Magic Bag this weekend will be in with the chance of winning one of 250 prizes.

Prize Draw Rules

  1. Organization of the Prize Draw

The company Too Good To Go Ltd. (hereinafter “TGTG”) whose registered office is located at 11 Curtain Road, EC2A 3L London, England, is organizing a prize draw with obligation to purchase entitled: Morrisons’ Golden Ticket.

This prize draw (hereinafter the "Prize Draw") takes place exclusively on the app of TGTG from 18.00 May 21st to 16:00 May 23rd, 2021. Entries received outside of these dates will not be entered in the Prize Draw.

Registering for the Prize Draw implies unreserved acceptance of and compliance with the provisions of these rules, which can be accessed online at any time during the Prize Draw at the following link: www.toogoodtogo.co.uk/en-gb/blog/morrisons-golden-ticket. 

TGTG reserves the right to extend, withdraw, alter or suspend the Prize Draw or these rules at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.

This Prize Draw is not organized or sponsored by Facebook, Instagram, Google, Apple or Microsoft and they shall not be held responsible in any way for any dispute related to the Prize Draw.

  1. Conditions of participation

This Prize Draw is open to:

  • any individual over the age of 18

  • with internet access and a TGTG account

  • residing in Great Britain

except for TGTG employees and their families, as well as any person who participated in the development of the Prize Draw. It is strictly forbidden for a participant to participate from an account opened for the benefit of another person. Only one account may be used per individual participant.

Any person meeting the conditions for participation above who wishes to participate in the Prize Draw shall follow the process below:

  • Have a TGTG account.

  • Buy a Magic Bag from a Morrisons’ Partner Store in Great Britain via the TGTG app.

Only Participants who have complied with the process set out above will be considered as participants.

  1. Prizes

The following prizes are available to win as part of the Prize Draw:

  • 5 x £100 Morrisons shopping vouchers

  • 5 x ‘Win a year’s worth of Too Good To Go’ (52 vouchers worth £12 each)

  • 25 x Morrisons houseplants with a retail value between £3.50 to £7.00

  • 25 x 10 TGTG meal vouchers

  • 95 x £10 Morrisons shopping vouchers

  • 95 x 5 TGTG meal vouchers

  1. Designation of winners

The winners will be selected at random from all the people who have bought a Magic Bag from a Morrisons’ Partner Store via the TGTG app in accordance with the Prize Draw Rules. The random draw will be done using the following website (https://www.randomdraws.com/uk/) within five working days following the end of the Prize Draw.

The winners will be contacted by email within five working days following the draw, confirming the nature of the prize won and how to receive it. Any winner who does not respond within eight days from the date of notification of his/her/their prize shall be deemed to have forfeited it and the prize shall be lost or awarded to a new winner.

TGTG reserves the right to verify the age of any winner before awarding the prize. Prizes may not be exchanged for their cash value or for any other prize. TGTG cannot be held liable for the use or non-use, or even trading, of the prizes by the winners. In the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of TGTG, TGTG reserves the right to replace the prize won by a prize of equivalent nature and value.

  1. Intellectual Property Rights

Participant acknowledges that TGTG is the sole and exclusive owner of any and all rights, including intellectual property rights, regarding this Prize Draw, its content and TGTG’s trademarks. Nothing in this Prize Draw shall grant any right, title or interest in or to TGTG’s contents and trademarks to any participant.

  1. Liability

Nothing in these rules shall limit or exclude TGTG’s liability for: (i) death or personal injury caused by TGTG’s negligence; (ii) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; and (iii) any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for TGTG to exclude or restrict its liability.

TGTG’s liability is strictly limited to the delivery of the prizes actually and validly won. TGTG shall not be held responsible:

  • for any incident or accident that may occur during the enjoyment of the prize awarded and/or due to its improper use by each winner.

  • for any problems of delivery or loss of postal or electronic mail (in particular with regard to the delivery of prizes). Any prizes sent by TGTG to a winner that is unclaimed or returned for any other reason by the postal services will be lost to the winner and will remain the property of TGTG.

  • for any direct or indirect, material or moral damage whatsoever if the Prize Draw is cancelled, temporarily or permanently unavailable, does not take place according to the announced rules or, in general, if participation in the Prize Draw proves temporarily or permanently impossible.

  • for any damage caused to a participant, his/her/their computer equipment and/or the data stored on it, as well as for any direct or indirect consequences that may result from this on his/her/their personal or professional activity. Therefore, each participant is responsible for the security systems that he/she/they puts in place on his/her/their computer equipment, and TGTG cannot be held responsible for contamination by possible viruses or for the intrusion of a third party into the computer system of any participant in the Prize Draw.

  • in the event of communication network failures, malfunction of the reception equipment, or network congestion preventing the smooth running of the Lottery or causing, directly or indirectly, a loss of chance in participating in the Prize Draw.

The above limitations of liability shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

TGTG may cancel all or part of the Prize Draw if it appears that fraud has been organized, in any form whatsoever and in particular in a computerized manner and has occurred during the course of the Prize Draw or in the context of determining the winners. In this case, TGTG reserves the right not to award the prizes to the fraudsters and/or to refer them to the applicable law enforcement authorities.

  1. Data protection

The personal data collected by TGTG in the course of this Prize Draw concerning the participants directly are necessary to enable their participation to be taken into account, the determination and announcement of the winners, the proper execution of the Prize Draw, and the allocation of the prizes, failing which the participant's participation will not be taken into account. This information may be transmitted to a service provider for draw of the winners and the delivery of prizes. In accordance with the provisions of Regulation 2016/679/EU of 27 April 2016 (including as amended by any legislation arising out of the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union) relating to data protection, participants in the Prize Draw have a right of access, rectification and opposition on personal data concerning them. A list of all Prize Draw winners’ names and counties of residence will be published by TGTG or made available by TGTG on written request. Prize Draw winners have the right to object to all or part of this information being published or made available – in such event they should inform TGTG in writing. In such circumstances, participants acknowledge that TGTG must nevertheless still provide the information to the ASA or equivalent regulator on request.   1. Law & Venue

Any possible dispute on the interpretation of the rules shall be decided by TGTG and shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales. Legal proceedings in respect of the Prize Draw and these terms and conditions (including any contractual or non-contractual disputes) shall be brought before the competent courts of England & Wales, save that if you are resident in Scotland, legal proceedings in respect of the Prize Draw and these terms and conditions (including any contractual or non-contractual disputes) may be brought in either the competent courts of Scotland or England & Wales.
