3 Ways to Repurpose a Takeaway Curry

Only got a few spoonfuls of takeaway curry left? A scraping of mango chutney? A piece of naan? We’ve teamed up with food delivery service GoGetters to bring you three easy ideas for repurposing the leftovers of Britain’s favourite takeaway.

If you have leftover curry and mango chutney…

Turn it into a curry and mango chutney toastie

  1. Spread two pieces of bread with mayo or butter on one side, and the last of your chutney on the other side

  2. Pile the last of your curry on top of the chutney side, and top with cheese

  3. Create a sandwich with the other other piece of bread, chutney side down and mayo side out

  4. Fry for 2 minutes on each side, or until the cheese is melted and bread is brown and crispy

If you have leftover poppadoms…

Turn them into poppadom nachos

  1. Cook up your favourite nacho topping recipe with beans, spices and tomatoes

  2. Break the poppadoms into pieces resembling nacho chips

  3. Pile your topping onto the poppadoms, and sprinkle with cheese

  4. Grill for 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is brown and bubbling

  5. Serve with coriander, sour cream and guacamole

If you have leftover naan…

Turn it into naan pizza

  1. Spread your naan with a tomato-based pizza sauce

  2. Top with favourite toppings

  3. Bake at 200C for 5-10 minutes, until golden brown
