Feeding the Supply Chain

During these challenging times, we’re experiencing changes in all walks of life. As a result, supply chains globally - and here in the UK - have been thrown into disarray with many wholesalers and manufacturers being left with surplus food. With the majority of the hospitality sector closed (excluding take-away trade), thousands of tonnes of food are now sitting idle in warehouses because their original destinations are no longer in operation, these food items are at risk of going to waste.

At Too Good To Go we dream of a planet with no food waste. Now, true to our cause, we are looking at how we can help save this food from being wasted, while also ensuring that everyone can access the food that they need in these uncertain times. It is in facing these challenges that we can come together to make a difference.

We want to help wholesalers and food manufacturers to ensure that perfectly edible, surplus food gets eaten and enjoyed. Whether this food is rescued through the Too Good To Go platform or redistributed to incredible front-line organisations such as the Real Junk Food Project, FareShare and City Harvest, the aim is to make sure no food goes to waste.

We are asking food producers, distributors or other businesses with surplus stock to get in touch via the contact form below.
