Surprise! We have a new logo. Here’s why.

The food waste movement is spreading faster than melting cheese atop your favourite (rescued) pizza. The Too Good To Go community now includes millions of Waste Warriors and food-waste-fighting stores that span across 9 countries - crazy, right?! To reflect the momentum of the fight against food waste, we’re evolving. Hence, our new logo.

From the get-go our logo has been a flag post of our mission. The most visible part of our food waste revolution to date, our ‘good ol’ logo’ will always hold a special place in our hearts. But some things were designed (literally) to change.

Let’s talk design

Who better to give you the design low-down than our Head of Creative, Carl-Emil...

“My goal was to create something that not only represented our brand, but also communicated what Too Good To Go means for the members of our community. We wanted to take the best of the old and turn it into something fresher, cleaner and more flexible.”

The new look was inspired by three key elements:

The Leaf: The Earth is awesome and we want to keep it that way - sustainability is at the heart of everything that we do.

The Heart: The incredible passion from our community of Waste Warriors and Partners. Also, let's be honest, you can’t understand the fight against food waste without acknowledging the love for food.

The Three: Our magic number. Everything we do has organically found a triple component, like the win-win-win for the planet, our users and our partners, or the Too Good To Go promise to inspire, empower and change.

So, how do we look?

Today we’re going to get a tad me-me-me (there’s that 3 again) and share a few examples of how we'll look from here on in. Android-users note: it may take a few weeks for you to see the new logo in your app.
